ESPN announced on Wednesday that the Chicago Cubs are scheduled to play on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball five times in 2017.

Three of the games will be against the rival Cardinals and a game each with the Red Sox and the Yankees.

Sunday, April 2, vs. Cardinals at Busch Stadium

Sunday, April 30, vs. Red Sox at Fenway Park

Sunday, May 7, vs. Yankees at Wrigley Field

Sunday, June 4, vs. Cardinals at Wrigley Field

Sunday, July 23, vs. Cardinals at Wrigley Field

Each team is limited to six games all season on ESPN's Sunday night games so one team like the Cubs or Yankees is not on every week.

The commentator group of Dan Shulman, Jessica Mendoza, Aaron Boone, and Buster Olney will return for the telecasts in 2017.
