The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series since 1908 and Kris Bryant was one of the main reasons as he earned the National League MVP award after the season.

In 2016, Bryant hit .292 with 39 homers, 102 RBIs, and an on-base percentage of .385.

His former college University of San Diego put up a billboard that says 'Congratulations Kris Bryant - 2016 World Series Champion and National League MVP' near the entrance to the campus.

There is another billboard with Kris Bryant on Balboa exit near 15 South in San Diego, Ca.
