Kris Bryant out of the lineup vs. Pirates

Chicago Cubs slugger Kris Bryant has a stomach flu and will not start against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

Bryant is still available for a possible pinch-hit role during the game.

He is batting .273 with 15 homers, 45 RBIs and a .360 on-base percentage this season. For his career, he is a .275 hitter with 41 home runs and 144 RBIs.

Cubs lineup vs. Pirates consists of Dexter Fowler CF, Matt Szczur LF, Ben Zobrist 2B, Anthony Rizzo 1B, Anthony Almora Jr. RF, Javier Baez 3B, Addison Russell SS, Miguel Montero C, and Jake Arrieta P.
