Cubs teammates David Ross and Kris Bryant were on the Ellen Show which will air on Tuesday.

"I almost didn't make it. I got clotheslined on the bus," Ross tells Ellen DeGeneres. Ross said he was accidentally hit by a metal rod while riding on the bus on the Victory Parade route.

"Nose is bleeding. My wife's stuffing things up my nose. I'm like, 'You're not ruining my day.' I'm waving to everybody. Blood's coming out. It was a blast, man."

Ellen ended giving Bryant a Cubs tuxedo for his upcoming wedding and presented Ross with a Cubs-themed walker for his retirement.
