Koji Uehara on the 10-day disabled list on Wednesday and recall bullpen
Justin Grimm from Triple-A Iowa.
Koji Uehara left Tuesday night's game in the seventh inning against the Giants with a stiff neck. The 42-year old's right neck injury is a cause of concern because he has a 5.40 ERA in nine appearances after the All-Star break. For the season, Uehara has 3.55 ERA with two saves, 45 strikeouts, and 1.11 WHIP. During his MLB career, he has a sparkling 2.61 ERA with 95 saves, 567 strikeouts, and 0.88 WHIP.
