Chicago Cubs outfielder Christopher Morel smacked his seventh homer of the season in the loss against the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday. It was his seventh homer in only 10 games which is a new Cubs modern record (1901 or after). He is also the 13th Cubs player to have a 10-game hitting streak and a run but the first ever to do it to start the season.
