Cubs crush back-to-back-to-back homers vs. Reds |
The Chicago Cubs are making an incredible comeback after being down 9-1 through two innings to the Reds on Thursday afternoon.
Alex Avila, Ian Happ, and Javy Baez all homered in a row to put the Cubs down only three runs at 9-6 in the fourth inning.
It was the first time since 2004 that Cubs hit three homers in a row in a single game with Derrick Lee, Sammy Sosa, and Michael Barrett.
The four homers also tied a franchise record for most homers in an inning.
