The Chicago Cubs (68-61) will battle the Pittsburgh Pirates at 7:05 PM CDT on Monday night televised on WGN-TV. The Cubs are in sole possession of first place ahead of the Brewers by two games in the National League Central division.
The North Siders are currently 6-4 in their last ten games. Longman Mike Montgomery will start for the defending World Champions opposed by righty Trevor Williams (5-6, 4.40 ERA).
