Cubs will extend netting at Wrigley Field in 2018

by - Senior Editor -

In the last week, there have been a few incidents of fans getting hit by screaming line drives that have required medical attention at different MLB venues.

Some of the incidents have even brought tears to some of the ballplayers.

Cubs President of Business Crane Kenny said that the netting will go around the dugouts next year and will be around 30 feet further according to multiple reports.

This will certainly help with the safety of the fans and make sure everyone leaves healthy after watching a game at Wrigley Field.
