Friday's Cubs-Reds game will be delayed |
It's Deja Vu again. Another day and another rain delay for the Chicago Cubs.
Friday night's game between the Cubs and the Reds will be delayed because of heavy rain in the area. The tarp is currently on the field and the forecast shows possible rain in the area until around midnight. Reds' officials will update the start time at approximately 8 p.m. ET. 6:50 pm update: The rain has stopped at Great American Ballpark. 6:55 pm update: The tarp is coming off the field and the game will start at an estimated time around 7:40 pm CT. Yesterday's get-away game between the Cubs and the Braves had to be rescheduled because of the heavy rainfall in Atlanta. This tarp followed us here and we aren't going to start on time. “Play Ball” in some doubt, one hour before first pitch: pic.twitter.com/KNQx1khdEV
