Chicago Cubs starter Jake Arrieta took it into his own hands offensively to try to help the Cubs on Saturday night.

Arrieta cranked a two-run homer to left centerfield in the fifth inning off of righty Ivan Nova to tie the game at 2-2. The home run was the fifth of his career and the first one since June 27, 2016 against the Reds.

The home run went an estimated 380 feet with an exit velocity of 98.2 MPH. Check out the homer below.
