WATCH: Heyward crushes 4th homer of the day for Cubs

by - Senior Editor -

Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward smashed a solo homer in the third inning to put the Cubs up 8-0 against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night.

It was Heyward's 7th homer of the season which actually matched his entire output last season. The homer reached Eutaw St. which is the 92nd time in history that someone has reached the street. The ball traveled 395 feet.

The four homers on the day for the Cubs is one shy of their single-game season high this season of five.
