The Chicago Cubs (32-32) will battle the New York Mets at 7:10 p.m. CDT on Monday night televised on CSN Chicago. The Cubs are now .500 for the 12th time this season.

Righty John Lackey will take the mound for the defending World Champions as they try to win back-to-back games.

One lineup note is that shortstop Addison Russell will be starting at shortstop for the third straight game.

The Cubs are currently in second place in the National League Central (1 GB) behind the Brewers.
