Cubs News: Kris Bryant on past shoulder pain

by - Senior Editor -

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is one of the main reasons for optimism on the North Side for 2019.

His swing has looked great in early spring action as he has hit two homers and been on base frequently.

Bryant spoke to 670 The Score on Monday morning and said that he is healed up from the shoulder inflammation that made him a shell of his self in 2018.

"I don't feel anything at all," Bryant said. "Everything feels like it's completely healed. I'm going into spring 1,000 percent confident that this won't happen again."

In 2018, Bryant hit .272 with 13 homers, 52 RBIs, and an on-base percentage of .374.
