The Coronavirus pandemic is hurting citizens around the world as it continues to be very contagious and deadly.
Former MLB player Jim Edmonds has checked himself into the hospital on Saturday as he has felt symptoms consistent with COVID-19. "Held off as long as I could," he posted on social media. "I thought I was tough enough to get through. This virus is no joke." The 49-year-old is currently waiting for his test results for the Coronavirus. “I didn’t know the swab could go that far in someone’s nose,” he said. Edmonds hit 19 homers with a .937 OPS in 85 games with the Cubs in the 2008 season. Everyone at CubsHQ and the baseball world hopes that he bounces back 100 percent healthy soon.
