CHICAGO — Marking a major milestone in Muppets history, Cookie Monster sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field. Nailing his raucous rendition of the ballpark tune, Cookie Monster finished off his performance by fittingly telling the Cubs, "Let's get some cookies."

Cookie Monster was on hand for Thursday's game at the Friendly Confines between the Chicago Cubs and the Atlanta Braves. Prior to the game, the blue, furry Sesame Street character warmed up with Cubs organist Gary Pressy, and it paid off for Cookie Monster, as his seventh-inning solo was flawless.
