WATCH: Pete Crow-Armstrong loses track of outs, Cardinals score easily |
Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong has had a fabulous second season in the majors, leading him to a future All-Star appearance for the Northsiders.
However, tonight PCA made a play that he hopes he can soon forget. After securing a fly ball in deep center, Crow-Armstrong appeared to forget the number of outs. That mental lapse allowed a Cardinals baserunner to tag up and score easily, extending St. Louis’ lead to 8-5. Watch the play below: PCA loses track of how many outs there are, and Masyn Winn scores from second on a flyout to center field. pic.twitter.com/vkCtZhDu1P
