Chicago Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber crushed a two-run homer to right centerfield that scored Jon Jay to put the Cubs up 4-1 on Wednesday night.
The baseball had an exit velocity of 114 MPH and traveled an estimated 467 feet. The ball went past Shea Bridge and was the second hardest hit baseball by the Cubs this season. Schwarber also has the longest homer by the Cubs this season at 470 feet on May 23. The homer was also the second longest at Citi Field in the Statcast Era (Stanton, 468 feet).
