Great story "Cool Papa" Bell. Loved the story about his hit off of Paige that went passed Satchel
and hit Bell while he was running the bases...LOL. The one I heard growing up was Cool Papa Bell was so fast he could turn the light off in his bedroom and be in bed before the room went dark. Sure wish I could have seen him, Satch, Josh Gibson, Buck Leonard and so many, many more. Looking forward to more stories on Negro League Greats. Shame it took so long to desegregate baseball.
