Great article, Dan, and I agree- they looked 1000% better. When I was writing the article about the multiple lineups, I stumbled on an interesting anomaly (then again, it could be more of a phenomenon)... Prior to last night, when the Cubs scored 8 or more runs in a game (17 times so far this year), Lester was the starting pitcher on 8 of those occasions. After last night, that figure jumps to 9/18. Not sure what about Lester is making the bats come alive, but he has emerged as quite ring leader.
