Well written and deserved letter. I, like you, have been more critical than necessary but that's me, always expecting more. Sometimes you just have to accept the fact fact that it is what it is, period. Looking back over the past five years there were more good times than bad, and I need to remember that. Change is hard, but necessary and good over the long haul.

Bare your wretched soul all you want, Joe haters could have had a combo of Jesus, Babe Ruth and Casey Stengel, it wouldn't matter...."different", "creative"...ha! He had our team a shot, all fans can ask...but no...not you guys, never mind the near impossibility of dominating either league these days....or other teams performing "out of their heads" as teams of destiny, our team, one of good guys, good professionals, true believers, had a shot every year and in one of them took it all. All you geniuses won't be happy with the next...(Had Joe not gotten me so used to winning after two generations plus of being a fan, I'd almost wish Girardi on you), saying you demand the best is lame because it lacks the observational power to see humans fail. Could we today beat LA or the Braves? Maybe not, was it the fault of Maddon? Oh #### no.
Do what you do...Schwarb didn't hit 40 hrs you'll grouse, Javey, too showy will be your comment after an error, Rizz getting old...after twisting an ankle...we'll always have to put up with you...I just am pointing you out in hopes that management will understand you grumblers won't ever be happy and hopefully not listen next time as you chip away at their decisions and the performance of their choice, to wreck morale and team spirit thinking somewhere there is a team full of Cy Youngs and Ruth/Cobb/Bonds superplayers we can get together for a ten year stretch.
