Tuesday's batting lineup for the Cubs vs. the Chicago White Sox at 2:05 p.m. CT on WGN will be the following:
1. Ian Happ CF
2. Kyle Schwarber LF
3. Willson Contreras C
4. Tommy La Stella DH
5. Victor Caratini 1B
6. David Bote 3B
7. Mike Freeman SS
8. Chesny Young 2B
9. Jacob Hannemann RF
This is the third time this Spring Training that Happ will leadoff for the Cubs.
Veteran Jon Lester will take the mound for the North Siders and will probably only pitch one or two innings max. Other Cubs pitchers that are available include Alvarez, Zastryzny, Roth, Mazzoni, Maples, De La Cruz, and Underwood.

The White Sox announced Jake Burger has a ruptured left achilles tendon and will be out for the 2018 season.
Tough break for him and the White Sox.

Happ is looking really good so far this spring with two homers, a double, a single in his last four at-bats. That is 11 total bases if you are keeping track.

Radio announcer Jim Deshaies said that Javy Baez is the most fun player to watch in major league baseball.
I tend to agree defensively. Hopefully, he can put it all together this year offensively and have that massive year that the Cubs would love out of their second baseman.
