If banning the shift returns baseball to what many of us grew up watching, I'm glad. Pro Baseball has gotten stale and boring. My friends and I were discussing how there was very little action on the bases, no hitting except home runs. Hard to believe that just forty years ago you wished your favorite player would hit a home run while you were at the ballpark. I started going to high school games to see good baseball. Very few home runs but boy the athleticism and base action was great.
