Cubs lineup vs. Brewers, Zobrist sits

The Chicago Cubs try to take the lead tonight in the National League Central race. According to Elias, the Cubs and the Brewers have faced each other only four times with the best and second-best record in the National League.

Monday night's batting lineup for between the Cubs (37-25) and the Milwaukee Brewers (39-26) at 7:10 p.m. CDT will be the following:

1. Albert Almora Jr. CF

2. Jason Heyward RF

3. Kris Bryant 3B

4. Anthony Rizzo 1B

5. Willson Contreras C

6. Kyle Schwarber LF

7. Javier Baez 2B

8. Addison Russell SS

9. Jose Quintana P

Cubs will have 'Q' on the mound (6-4, 4.20 ERA) against righty Junior Guerra (3-4, 2.83 ERA). In six career starts against the Brew Crew, Quintana is 4-1 and has given up only three earned runs over 43 innings pitched.

Javy Baez has been moved down to the No. 7 spot in the lineup as he is currently dealing with a 0-for-17 streak with seven strikeouts.

The game will be televised on NBC Sports Chicago+ and MLB.TV as the Cubs will try to go for 8-out-9 wins against the Brewers this season.
