The Chicago Cubs are currently looking for viable options for their bullpen with the possible departures of Aroldis Chapman, Travis Wood, Trevor Cahill, and others.

The Chicago Tribue reported that the Cubs are interested and reached out to Diamondbacks reliever Daniel Hudson.

The 6-foot-four righty had a 5.22 ERA with five saves, 58 strikeouts, and a 1.44 WHIP last season. For his career, he has a 3.94 ERA with nine saves, 435 strikeouts, and a 1.25 WHIP.

The pitches at his disposal include a four-seam fastball, two-seam fastball, slider, changeup, and a cutter.

He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the fifth round of the 2008 MLB draft.
