Clearly, David Bote has been taking sliding lessons from Javier Baez, as Bote channeled his flashy teammate when he pulled off a spectacular slide at home plate to provide the Cubs with the tying run against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. After motoring from first to third on a 2-out double by Albert Almora Jr., Bote was sent home and utilized a perfect headfirst slide to score and tie the game up at 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth.

Bote's superb slide provided the Cubs with their first run of the series and came after Bote set up the scoring opportunity on a 2-out infield single.
