WATCH: Maddon discusses Arrieta's homer

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon was impressed with Jake Arrieta's pitching and hitting in Sunday night's 7-3 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Arrieta crushed a 442 ft. two-run homer in the second inning and also picked up the victory as he allowed three runs on eight hits, no walks, six strikeouts in seven innings of work.

It was his 22nd consecutive quality start that established a new Cubs record.
