Veteran pitcher Jake Arrieta is one of the top starting pitchers in the National League and one of the most beloved members of the Cubs with most diehard fans.

Arrieta took in the Victory Parade with his teammates and his family and sent out an emotional tweet for his fans.

"A dream turned into reality by the boys in blue, & our city of Chicago," Arrieta posted. "I feel more connected to a city than ever before. Love you all."

Arrieta was 2-1 in four games started in the postseason with a 3.63 ERA in 22.1 innings giving up only 17 hits, with seven walks, and 25 strikeouts.
