Dexter Fowler gets ejected against Nationals

Cubs center fielder Dexter Fowler was ejected after arguing a strike three call with head umpire Vic Carapazza at the end of the third inning during Thursday's game against the Nationals.

It was Fowler's second straight strikeout of the evening and he tossed his bat towards the dugout in disgust of the high strike call.

Fowler was leading the major leagues with a .542 on-base percentage at the start of tonight's contest.

Jason Heyward entered the game to replace Fowler in center field.
