Cubs News: Kyle Hendricks named NL Pitcher of the Month

Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks was named National League Pitcher of the Month for August.

Hendricks had six quality starts with four wins totaling 42.1 innings with a 1.28 ERA with 36 strikeouts, seven walks, and a 0.78 WHIP.

For the season, he is 13-7 with a 2.09 ERA with 139 strikeouts and a 0.98 WHIP.
