Cubs News: Lester almost gets taken out by power line during Victory Parade |
The Chicago Cubs are taking part in their World Series Victory Parade on Friday afternoon as the team celebrates the team's first championship since 1908.
Jon Lester and the rest of his teammates are on these high blue buses and wavering to the crowd. However, Lester tweeted that things almost went disastrous for him while waving to the crowd. "These buses are too high up! We almost got taken out by the power lines," Lester tweeted. "Lost my hat! Haha". However, it all ended up OK as he only lost his World Series hat.
