The Chicago Cubs will be playing the San Diego Padres at 2:40 p.m. CDT on WGN-TV on Wednesday afternoon.
Kyle Hendricks will take the mound versus Paul Clemens in the series finale. Hendricks has a gaudy 2.16 ERA on the season and since the All-Star break, he's 4-1 with a dazzling 1.33 ERA. The Cubs starting pitchers have a 14-1 record with a 1.78 ERA in August.
