Cubs News: Wade Davis selected for 2017 All-Star game

Major League Baseball announced their starters and reserves for the upcoming 2017 All-Star game and the Cubs will only have one representative in closer Wade Davis.

It will be Davis' third All-Star selection and first in the National League.

In 2017, Davis has 1.93 ERA in 28 total innings with 16 saves out of 16 opportunities, 42 strikeouts, and 0.96 WHIP.

Also, Cubs manager Joe Maddon will be managing the All-Star game for the second time in his career.
