WATCH: Baez sends Wrigley into a frenzy with game-tying 3-run bomb

After getting shut out by the Los Angeles Dodgers for two hours on Wednesday, the Wrigley faithful were clearly eager to let off some steam when the Chicago Cubs finally broke through in the sixth inning, and a 3-run blast by shortstop Javier Baez did the trick. Sending the crowd into a frenzy, the 369-foot bomb to left knotted the game up at 3-3.

Facing an 0-2 count with two outs and two men on base, Baez lifted a slider thrown by Dodgers starter Walker Buehler high into the night sky for a game-tying dinger that left the bat at 99 miles per hour. The fans in attendance roared as soon as Baez made contact on the no-doubter, and Baez was fired up while rounding the bases for his eighth round-tripper of the season.
