An insurance run is never a bad thing for the Northsiders.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Mike Tauchman smacked a solo homer to put the Cubs up 3-0 in the eighth inning against the Pirates on Tuesday night.

It was his second homer of the season, and it traveled 396 feet with an exit velocity of 105.7 MPH.
