Chicago Cubs catcher Yan Gomes is making fans forget about Willson Contreras completely.

During Friday night's game against the Minnesota Twins, Gomes smacked a go-ahead single in the seventh inning to put the Cubs up 3-2.

Entering the game, Gomes had a .324 average with six homers, 15 RBIs, and .939 OPS.
