WATCH: Heyward obliterates baseball on powerful 2-run bomb

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin — In game one of the Chicago Cubs' 3-game set with the Milwaukee Brewers, Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward smacked his first home run of the season with a 2-run bomb in the eighth inning. Picking up where he left off, Heyward powered out a 2-run blast in the second inning of game two.

Leaving the bat in a hurry, Heyward's dinger on Saturday flew off the bat at 95 miles per hour, with the sweet swing by "J-Hey" making the round-tripper a no-doubter. Kyle Schwarber, who tabbed a single earlier in the frame, scored on the homer. Going up 2-1 by way of the blast, the Cubs boasted their first lead of the series after Heyward went yard.
