ST. LOUIS — For the second time on Saturday night, Chicago Cubs center fielder Ian Happ took St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright deep in the fifth inning. Both of the blasts were of the 2-run variety, with the first one occurring in the third inning.

Going to the opposite field, Happ drove a 367-footer out to left field in the top of the fifth, thereby scoring Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber and putting the Cubs up 5-0 at Busch Stadium. Happ's 11th dinger of 2019, the round-tripper left the bat at 100 miles per hour and 27 degrees.
