WATCH: Nico Hoerner smacks homer in first pitch against Rays

Good start for the Northsiders.

Chicago Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner ambushed the first pitch that the Cubs saw for a solo homer to put the Cubs up 1-0 against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night.

It was his fourth homer of the season and it traveled an estimated 367 feet.
