Anthony and Maddie began the conversation by talking about the Cubs' recent road trip, spanning 10 games in 10 days on the West Coast — which has also been met with the Cubs’ struggles traveling cross country.

The pair then discussed injury updates about Cody Bellinger, Justin Steele, Cody Heuer, and Brad Boxberger and how they’re recoveries will help the team.

In addition, the two talked about Nick Madrigal and Keegan Thompson and the road back to the pros for each.

The conversation then wrapped up with talking about the looming trade deadline.
