CHICAGO — Hitting a pitch so hard that he knew he had just homered as soon as the ball left the bat, Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras hammered a 451-foot moonshot on Sunday. The dinger put the Cubs up 6-1 in the bottom of the seventh.

Coming on a curveball thrown by Milwaukee Brewers reliever Bobby Wahl, the no-doubter left the bat at 105.5 mph. Sailing out to left at Wrigley Field, Contreras' first tater of the season featured a celebratory bat flip.
