The Chicago Bears have traded standout pass rusher
Robert Quinn to the Philadelphia Eagles according to reports on Wednesday.
This is a solid move for the Eagles as one of the top teams in the NFL reloads. No word yet on the trade capital that the Bears got for Quinn. However, it was likely a solid move as the Bears are rebuilding in 2023. By making this move, they cleared up $18.23 million in cap space and will have over $125 million for next season in cap room. Update: Reportedly, the Bears got a fourth-round pick for Quinn. According to Mike Garafolo, the Bears will pick up "most of the remaining salary" for Quinn. The frontrunners for his services were the Eagles, Titans, Ravens, and Rams. Through seven games this season, Quinn has a sack and eight tackles. “All I control is myself,” Quinn said in July. “You can’t play this game if you’re not happy to be here, because it’s one of the roughest games out there. Every day, you’ve got to buy in to be able to give the best of yourself. That’s all I’m trying to do every time I step in the building. I’m just trying to bring the best version of myself.” In 2021, he was named second-team All-Pro for an impressive 18.5 sack season which was a franchise-record.
