Report: Bears play Packers in Week 1 action

by - Senior Editor -

Football fans in Chicago are eagerly anticipating the release of the 2023 NFL schedule, and reports are already surfacing about what they can expect for the upcoming season.

According to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman, the Chicago Bears will kick off the season at home against their archrivals, the Green Bay Packers, at 3:25 PM on FOX.

The Week 1 matchup between the Bears and Packers is always a highly anticipated event, but this year's game will have added significance as it will be the first time the Bears face Packers quarterback Jordan Love as the starter.

Love took over for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, who has moved on to the New York Jets.

This should be fun with Love against Justin Fields.

The Bears will also host the Raiders, Broncos, Panthers, Falcons, Cardinals, Lions, and Vikings at Soldier Field.

The Bears will travel to Los Angeles, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Washington D.C., Cleveland, Minnesota, and Detroit.

Overall, the 2023 NFL season promises to be an exciting one for Bears fans.

With a new schedule full of challenging opponents, as well as the potential for Justin Fields to take his game to the next level, there is a lot to look forward to in the coming months.

The official 2023 schedule will be released in its entirety at 7 pm CT.
