It is the two teams first meeting since 2014 in which the Cubs swept the series. This is the first of eight interleague series, totaling 20 games, the Cubs will play this season. The Cubs next weekend host the New York Yankees for three games at Wrigley Field. Chicago last season was 15-5 (.750) against in interleague play, setting single season franchise marks for interleague victories and winning percentage.
