Man dies after falling over rail at Wrigley Field

Sad news to report as 42-year-old Richard E. Garrity died on Wednesday afternoon after falling from the railings at Wrigley Field around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Garrity was taken to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center immediately via ambulance but passed away on Wednesday around 3 p.m. according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Cubs released a statement after Garrity's death: "The thoughts and prayers of our entire organization are with his family during this difficult time."
