CHICAGO — Overcoming an early 3-0 deficit, the Chicago Cubs (51-44) plated four runs via three home runs at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night and toppled the Cincinnati Reds (43-49) 4-3 in extra innings. In the bottom of the 10th, Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber skied a walkoff home run that landed in the basket above the wall in left-center field.

The Reds scored three runs in the opening inning and were held in check the rest of the way. Second baseman Robel Garcia hammered a 2-run blast to put the Cubs on the scoreboard, and third baseman Kris Bryant went yard for the North Siders to tie the Reds up. In the end, Schwarber took Reds reliever Raisel Iglesias deep for his lone hit of the game, thereby concluding the contest in walkoff fashion.
