CHICAGO — Coming through in the clutch, Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber skied a 3-run home run with two outs on Wednesday. The opposite-field jack at Wrigley Field provided the Cubs with a commanding 9-1 lead over the Oakland Athletics.

Schwarber took A's reliever Lou Trivino deep on a cutter for his 26th jack of the season. The 375-footer to left field boasted a 27-degree launch angle and a 101-mile-per-hour exit velocity. The 3-run dinger was part of a 4-run fifth inning for the Cubs.
