Bill Murray gives ticket to Cubs fan to sit beside him at World Series |
Diehard Cubs fan Bill Murray was in attendance for the World Series Game 6 in Cleveland on Tuesday night.
Murray gave an extra ticket to Karen Michel of Whiting, Indiana when he saw that she had on a Cubs uniform but did not have a ticket outside the stadium. “He turns around and says, ‘Here, here’s a ticket,'” Michel told MLB.com. “And he kind of shuttled me into the door. I thought it was just a ticket to get in. But it was a ticket to sit right here.” The Cubs ended up winning a memorable game 9-3 and Michel has a cool story to tell for a lifetime. Okay. Big game tonight after @Cubs crushed @Indians last night. But being next to this guy made you laugh through your tears. #BillMurray pic.twitter.com/gnf1KYZh9n
