Cubs fans were excited about a possibility of a Watch Party at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night but this idea has been nixed by the Cubs.

“We made a decision early on not to host watch parties during postseason away games and that decision has not changed," Cubs spokesman Julian Green said.

The Cleveland Indians have had Watch parties for the away games this week, and it was well received by the Indians fans at their home stadium. The attendance for their three World Series parties were 67,218 fans and the $5 ticket to get in went to help various charities.

Game 6 of the World Series will start at 7:08 CT on Tuesday night.
