Report: Cubs will attend Tim Lincecum's comeback workout

by - Senior Editor -

Twenty or so major league teams including the Chicago Cubs are interested in two-time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum's comeback workout on Friday.

Lincecum will try to show he is healthy after battling back from arthroscopic hip surgery last season. He is reportedly already throwing 91 MPH and looking impressive.

He is currently a free agent and could be signed on Friday after a successful pitching performance.

In 2015, he was 7-7 with a 4.13 ERA in 15 starts with the Giants.
